Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking Team Members for the Prepared Foods department in our DC area stores. You will assist with preparation, service, sanitation, and stocking of hot and cold foods while maintaining a courteous and efficient presence on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, assisting with inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
