Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Bradenton, FL seeks a Prepared Foods Supervisor to assist with scheduling, supervision, and daily flow of the department. You will train Team Members, ensure clean, well-stocked displays, and uphold health, safety, and store procedures while delivering friendly customer service.

This role requires leadership, organization, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies.
• Proficient in assessing financial performance and inventory.
• Demonstrated leadership and delegation abilities.
• Proficiency with email and operations-related applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Train Team Members with a high-performance approach to minimize turnover.
• Assist in training of new Team Members using learning checklists.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures breaks are given and communicated to team.
• Communicates concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters positive teamwork and morale.
• Manages customer flows and directs staff to satisfy customers.
• Trains, mentors, and counsels Team Members to sustain performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations and aligns with WFM goals.
