Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Prepared Foods Team Leader to supervise team members, train staff, and ensure smooth daily operations in the Prepared Foods department. You will oversee displays, inventory, and quality standards while maintaining excellent customer service.

This role requires lifting, flexible scheduling, and adherence to safety policies. The position emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with store leadership to meet store goals and maintain a high-performance team

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail or food service supervision experience.
• Proven ability to train and develop team members.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Experience with scheduling and task delegation.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Trains team members to build a high-performance team and reduce turnover.
• Assists in training new team members using checklists.
• Keeps cases stocked and rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to leadership.
• Achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters teamwork and morale.
• Directs staff to meet customer needs.
