Job summary

Giant Eagle, Inc. in Parma, OH is seeking an Prepared Foods Team Leader to guide and develop Team Members across two locations. You will coach staff, drive department performance, and ensure high-quality prepared foods while maintaining safety and customer focus.

Responsibilities include leading teams, planning work, monitoring inventory and shrink, and collaborating with merchandising to communicate promotions. Relevant retail leadership or peer trainer experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation.
• Retail leadership or supervisory experience; peer trainer or in-store champion role preferred.
• Demonstrated product knowledge relevant to department.

Responsibilities

• The principal duties include interviewing, selecting and training Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members and monitor productivity and performance.
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints and disciplinary actions.
• Plan and distribute work; ensure safety and security of the store and staff.
• Manage department budget and inventory; monitor shrink and implement controls.
• Oversee training to reduce turnover and improve efficiency.
