Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an organized and customer-focused supervisor for the Prepared Foods team in Florida. You will oversee Team Members, train staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the department, while maintaining high standards of display, stock rotation, and customer service.

You will open/close the department, manage breaks, and communicate team concerns to leadership, supporting the vision and goals of Whole Foods Market.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Works with Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members and reduce turnover.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using checklists and materials.
• Maintains clean, stocked, rotated cases and shelves.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures proper breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high retail execution standards.
• Fosters positive teamwork and morale.
• Addresses customer needs and directs Team Members accordingly.
• Selects, trains, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members to sustain performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Models WFM vision and goals in daily work.
