Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is looking for a Team Member to assist the Team Leader in daily operations, drive profitability, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure excellent customer service. You will lead Team Members, manage labor and inventory, and uphold health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include analyzing sales reports, training staff, and maintaining vendor relationships, with opportunities for advancement as you demonstrate performance and leadership.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience.
• 6+ months supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops/maintains awareness of new products.
• Maintains good vendor relationships and ensures paperwork for vendor processing is submitted.
• Collaborates with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Functions as point person in absence of Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Communicates and models WFM vision and goals.
• Directs Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
• Trains, mentors, and counsels Team Members; performs evaluations.
