Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Leader-support role focused on daily operations, merchandising, and team development. You will assist in sales targets, labor planning, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will mentor Team Members, manage vendor relations, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while supporting store programs and a positive company image.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops awareness of new products.
• Maintains good vendor relationships and ensures paperwork is submitted for vendor processing.
• Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Functions as point person in absence of Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters teamwork and positive morale.
• Directs team to meet customer needs and provide excellent service.
• Trains and counsels Team Members; conducts performance evaluations.
