Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Lead to assist the Team Leader in daily operations, profitability, and regulatory compliance. You will mentor Team Members, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold health and safety standards while promoting store programs and values.

The role requires experience in retail and leadership, with a focus on teamwork, strong product knowledge, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail Team Member experience is required.
• Supervisory experience of 6+ months preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop Team Members.
• Strong knowledge of meat products and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Achieves sales, purchasing, and labor targets with Team Leader.
• Analyzes sales reports and labor with Team Leader.
• Assists with budgeting, ordering, and inventory management.
• Addresses team concerns and serves as point person in Team Leader absence.
• Sets high standards of retail execution and teamwork.
• Ensures customer needs are met promptly and delight customers.
