Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Ohio is seeking a Team Member to perform preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking, delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

This role requires adherence to store SOPs, on-time attendance, and flexibility to work shifts. The position emphasizes helping customers, maintaining safe and clean areas, and supporting store programs and health regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Helps customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Maintains clean and organized walk-ins and freezers.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs promptly, and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment; ensures equipment is clean and safe.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signs and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
