Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Ohio is seeking a team member to support preparation, counter service, sanitation and stocking in our Prepared Foods areas. The role emphasizes friendly, courteous, and efficient service to customers and team members in accordance with store procedures.

You will assist with labeling, dating, rotating, and maintaining product quality, while ensuring clean walk-ins and freezers, and participating in opening, mid, and closing duties.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Helps customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health and sanitation and safe work practices.
