Whole Foods Market in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a team member to support prep, counter service, sanitation, and stocking across Prepared Foods. You will help customers understand products, maintain labeling, rotate stock, and keep walk-ins and freezers clean while following health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensure product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensure product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Help customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Maintain walk-ins and freezers clean and well-organized.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work; participate in required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques; answer phones promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; uphold safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing is accurate.
