Job summary

Boar’s Head Brand is seeking a collaborative prepared foods expert with strong project management and training capabilities to lead development, commercialization, and retail launch of prepared foods concepts. The role collaborates with culinary development and business teams to roll out and execute brand standards with retailers, purveyors, and distribution centers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in prepared foods management, a BA/BS, and experience in brand development.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of experience with 5 years of combined retail and commissary-related prepared foods management and production experience.
• Brand development experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or culinary certificate is a plus.
• Educational or strong experiential background in food science and safe food handling in a production environment.
• Experience developing and delivering task-related training programs.
• Exposure to QA auditing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize prepared foods concepts and create scalable recipes and menu solutions.
• Establish preparation standards, training materials, and food safety compliance.
• Drive culinary innovation by translating consumer insights into seasonal offerings and retail programs.
• Support and launch new programs with sales, marketing, and retail teams; provide onsite training.
• Lead and train others; maintain high standards and professional business conduct.
• Represent and grow the Boar’s Head brand across multiple retail formats.
