Job summary

Bourbon & Bones Lounge – Square One Concepts is seeking a reliable Prep/Pantry cook to join our kitchen team, responsible for prepping and organizing ingredients for dining dishes and maintaining high quality standards.

You will work closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional experiences to guests, while following health and safety regulations and contributing to a well-organized pantry and efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and proper storage, handling, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to prep ingredients, seasonings, and dressings per recipes.
• Maintain pantry organization and labeling.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and replenishment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Team player with good communication.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients as directed by senior staff.
• Prepare fresh produce, meat, and simple dishes.
• Prepare condiments, dressings, and sauces.
• Maintain health and safety, sanitation, and hygiene.
• Assist with unloading, inspection, and storage of ingredients.
• Support culinary team to prepare appetizers and components.
• Ensure quality checks on ingredients and prepared items.
• Communicate inventory needs and menu changes to staff.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
