Square One Concepts Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Prep/Pantry cook for Bourbon & Bones Lounge. The role involves prepping ingredients, organizing the pantry, and supporting the culinary team to maintain high quality and hospitality standards.

The position requires food safety knowledge, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a valid Food Handlers Certification. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have food safety knowledge and follow sanitation protocols.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain pantry organization and labeling.
• Monitor inventory and alert when supplies run low.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene codes.
• Work with culinary team to prepare appetizers, sauces, garnishes.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible hours.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ingredients as directed by the head chef, senior chef, or other staff.
• Prepares fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepares meat by trimming, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepares simple dishes such as breads or salads.
• Mixes or prepares condiments, dressings, and sauces.
• Maintains compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes.
• Assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
