Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn correct and safe food preparation and sanitation.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Possess the ability to work with POS system and Kitchen Display System.
• Must obtain local or state food handling permits and ServSafe certification.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow department operating procedures; complete daily temperature, cleaning logs, line check sheets and waste sheets.
• Ensure compliance with food-handling and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare all food items per recipe guidelines, tasting and adjusting for flavor with chef assistance.
• Execute food orders according to guest preferences while multi-tasking.
• Provide food prep assistance by washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
• Control recipes by weighing and measuring ingredients.
• Transport food and utensils to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Stock food and supplies; verify receipt.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and sanitation standards.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Follow food safety programs (Ecosure or equivalent).
• Assist and support operation as requested by supervisors.
