The RN will educate patients and families on post-operative care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care in EPIC, with 32 hours per week and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved Nursing program required.
• BSN preferred.
• 1–3 years of EMR experience preferred.
• Experience in preop, PACU and discharge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and patient responses; document findings.
• Educate patients on procedures, recovery and discharge.
• Assess preadmission history and physician preferences to guide care.
• Chart accurately and timely; communicate with care team.
• Initiate IVs and manage orders; update EPIC order sets.
• Perform post-operative calls and pre-admission calls as needed.
• Deliver high-quality care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on assessments.
