Job summary

Delaware North's Patina Group is seeking a full-time Prep Cook for Via Napoli in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. You will prepare food items for guests, supporting great guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Pay ranges from $19.90 to $23.59 per hour. We offer weekly pay, training and development, employee discounts, and flexible schedules, plus eligibility for health, dental, vision insurance, and more benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation preferred.
• Able to read and understand prep sheets.
• Able to safely use kitchen tools (knives, small equipment).
• Able to follow instructions.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve storage items, measure, portion, and prepare all food items per standards.
• Communicate with the Chef for special instructions or training.
• Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed.
• Follow ServSafe procedures and health/sanitation regulations.

What will you do?

• Retrieve storage items necessary, and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
• Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training
• Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
• Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
• Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures, upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations

More About You

• Prior food preparation experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment ware)

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
• Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• Ability to frequently immerse hands in water
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
