Job summary

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is looking for a Prep Cook to join our fast-paced team and help prepare foods for our guests.

You will measure, portion, and prepare items, communicate with the Chef, and maintain cleanliness while following ServSafe procedures. This is a full-time role with weekly pay and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets.
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment).
• Ability to follow instructions.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve storage items necessary, and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training.
• Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
• Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures, upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations.

As a Prep Cook, you will be preparing food items for our established guests, supporting great guest experiences. $19.90 – $23.59 / hour
