Pay
$21.45 – $25.20 / hour

What will you do?
- Follow supervisor’s assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
- Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment, according to correct procedures as well as keeping workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- Work cooperatively with team members and management
- Follow supervisor’s assignments for opening and closing procedures
More about you
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in basic English.
- Demonstrated proficiency in fundamental knife skills, including but not limited to brunoise, julienne, chiffonade, and other professional cutting techniques.
- Working knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and food products.
- Experience operating and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, including Robo Coupe processors, buffalo choppers, steam kettles, and combi ovens.
- Minimum of five (5) years of food preparation experience in a high-volume, fast-paced Italian or Mediterranean restaurant environment.
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, and execute recipes, production sheets, and preparation instructions.
- Knowledge of and ability to safely operate kitchen tools, equipment, and utensils, including knives and small kitchen appliances.
- Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining quality and consistency standards.
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, including temperature control, product rotation (FIFO), cross-contamination prevention, and safe food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to hot kitchen equipment, ovens, and refrigerated preparation areas.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving products and equipment as required.
