VIG Milwaukee is seeking a prep cook to join our kitchen team. You will follow standardized recipes, prepare ingredients, and assist with cooking tasks to support service during all shifts.

You must read and follow English recipes, work well in a busy environment, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. This role requires physical stamina and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Prep Cook or similar kitchen role required.
• Ability to read and follow English recipes and prep lists precisely.
• Demonstrated multitasking ability in a busy kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety rules and sanitation practices.
• Physical stamina to stand, move, and lift for long shifts.

Responsabilités

• Prepare a variety of food items and ingredients per prescribed recipes and requests.
• Label and stock ingredients, products, and supplies for easy access.
• Follow portioning controls and par levels to maintain quality and waste control.
• Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and sanitary throughout the shift.
• Communicate with team and kitchen manager about needs and issues.
• Follow all rules and policies in the Employee Handbook.
