Job summary

Paysbig is hiring for a Production Kitchen Cook 1 in Milwaukee. Starting at $15.44 per hour with flexibility to work various shifts. You will maintain food quality, assist in prep and cooking, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include food prep, plating, safe operation of kitchen equipment, and supporting the culinary team with opening/closing duties. This role demands teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and availability for irregular hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–6 months of related cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days.
• Ability to complete Culinary Academy within 12 months.
• Maintain discretion with confidential information.
• Interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Work irregular hours including late nights, mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate food prep and cooking tasks.
• Assemble, garnish, and finalize dish presentation.
• Operate ovens, grills, fryers, knives, and other kitchen tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with inventory storage and rotation.
• Learn advanced kitchen duties and support the culinary team.
• Open and close duties as needed.
• Work at other kitchens/venues as needed to support business.
