Job summary

Moxie Bread Co. is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team across multiple locations. You will prepare recipes, assemble components for the sandwich team, and help craft pastries and grab-and-go items while adhering to standards and recipes.

You will work with the kitchen and pastry chefs and other staff to keep operations efficient, maintain quality, and ensure food safety and proper labeling. Flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and builds to accurately make products.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of your work area and the facility.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients.
• Support other teammates and departments as necessary.
• Maintain and clean kitchen equipment, including knives, blenders, and mixers; report maintenance needs.
• Work with kitchen staff to complete projects in a timely manner.
