Acme Hospitality in California is seeking a Prep Cook to support kitchen operations across our award-winning concepts. You will assist with mise en place, ingredient prep, and station setup to ensure timely service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
• Wash, peel, chop, and dice vegetables, fruits, and other items.
• Measure and mix ingredients for recipes, such as marinades, sauces, dressings.
• Prepare and assemble ingredients for salads, soups, stews, and other dishes.
• Assist in preparation of meat, fish, and poultry by cleaning, cutting, marinating.
• Set up workstations with ingredients, utensils, and equipment before each shift.
• Assist in inventory management and monitor stock levels.
• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and in good condition.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries for quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient workflow and timely service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations, including handwashing and protective gear.
