Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Prep Cook/Food Service Worker at St. Edward High School for a part-time day shift. Start between 9:30 and 10:30am, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays in accordance with the school schedule.

Ideal candidates have culinary experience or training, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication and customer service skills. You will prepare food portions, assemble ingredients, maintain safety standards, and assist in other service areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specific amount of food product according to the daily prep sheets
• Gather all necessary salad/sandwich ingredients and prepare them by washing, chopping, slicing, dicing and assembling them for customer purchase
• Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and recipes
• Manage food inventory when necessary
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion
• Assists in other food service areas (i.e. cashier, dishwashing, cleaning and serving)

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of a Part-time Prep Cook/Food Service Worker at St. Edward High School. This position will work day shift Monday - Friday, no weekends, no holidays and will follow the school schedule. Start time will be between 9:30-10:30am.
