Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Part-time Prep Cook/Food Service Worker at St. Edward High School for day shift, Monday through Friday, starting between 9:30 and 10:30 am. The role emphasizes energetic teamwork, reliability and a customer-focused approach to food service.

No weekends or holidays; school calendar applies. Responsibilities include preparing daily items, assembling ingredients, maintaining portion control, inventory, safety, and supporting other food service areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specific amount of food per daily prep sheets.
• Gather ingredients and prepare them for customer purchase.
• Follow portion sizes, quality standards, and recipes.
• Manage food inventory when necessary.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in other food service areas (i.e. cashier, dishwashing, cleaning).

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of a Part-time Prep Cook/Food Service Worker at St. Edward High School. This position will work day shift Monday - Friday, no weekends, no holidays and will follow the school schedule. Start time will be between 9:30-10:30am.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare specific amount of food product according to the daily prep sheets
• Gather all necessary salad/sandwich ingredients and prepare them by washing, chopping, slicing, dicing and assembling them for customer purchase
• Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and recipes
• Manage food inventory when necessary
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion
• Assists in other food service areas (i.e. cashier, dishwashing, cleaning and serving)
