We are hiring immediately for a part-time PREP COOK position.

Location: Olive View Medical - 14445 Olive View Drive Southeast 11, Sylmar, CA 91342. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; days and hours may vary, weekends and nights are required. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior kitchen experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $23.15 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers according to applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date all food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation and reports.
7. Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare quick-serve items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes to ensure quality and portion control.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
