Job Opportunity: Part-Time Prep Cook at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a part-time PREP COOK position at Olive View Medical, located at 14445 Olive View Drive Southeast 11, Sylmar, CA 91342. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

The Prep Cook prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after each use.
5. Store, label, and date all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation and reports.
7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
