Morrison Living is hiring immediately for part-time PREP COOK positions.

Job Details
  • Location: The Thome Rivertown Assisted Living - 250 McDougall, Detroit, MI 48207
  • Schedule: Part-time; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Details available upon interview.
  • Requirement: No prior experience required.
  • Pay Range: $16.50 to $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers according to applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
  3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
  4. Operate and clean equipment per procedures.
  5. Store, label, and date food items following HACCP guidelines.
  6. Complete documentation and reports as required.
  7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
  8. Take customer orders and prepare quick-serve items.
  9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
