Via Elegante Assisted Living is seeking a Full-Time Prep Cook / Dishwasher in Tucson, AZ. The role supports the culinary team, preparing meals for residents under the direction of the Sous Chef and Facility Director.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of kitchen, dining service, or hospitality experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• First aid/CPR Certification from American Heart Association or the Red Cross.
• Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can assist with the process).
• Ability to obtain Arizona Memory Care Certification (within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Preparing food and beverages under the direction of the Sous Chef and Facility Director.
• Assisting with menu preparation and meal service.
• Preparing meals for residents, including special dietary needs.
• Performing food temperature checks according to county health standards.
• Logging temperatures and labeling food per health department requirements.
• Assisting with inventory management and restocking.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas.
• Performing closing duties to shut down the kitchen.
• Washing dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware.
• Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the community.
• Delivering meals to our Foothills location using a company food delivery van.
