Job summary

The Reef in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Prep Cook to help prepare high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, sanitary kitchen. You will work with our culinary team to follow recipes, maintain station prep and ensure timely service, while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous prep cook or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, chop, slice, and prepare cooking elements during a shift.
• Store items properly, prep ahead, and access items quickly for cooking.
• Prepare portions and maintain station readiness for service.
• Work with speed to ensure timely output and maintain sanitation.
• Break down and clean station; rotate products to par with proper labeling.
