Silver Diner Development LLC is seeking a friendly, energetic Prep Cook to join our kitchen. You will prep items from scratch, learn flavor profiles, and support growth through our hat development program. Weekend and holiday availability is required in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with team members and guests.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team, communicating clearly and constructively.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized station, clean as you go.
• Count all prepped items checking for quality and proper rotation.
• Measure and assemble all ingredients and cook items according to specs.
• Prep assigned items following specs and according to prep list.
• Label, date, rotate and store all prepped items properly using FIFO.
• Return bulk items to walk‑cooler as you are prepping to keep food out of danger zone.
• Understand and adhere to all safety, sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards.
