Job summary

Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) is seeking a Prep Cook to join our fast-paced, full-service kitchen in Laguna Beach. The prep cook will support chefs by preparing ingredients, sauces, and simple dishes, following prep sheets and safety standards.

This role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork, with duties spanning equipment setup, food storage, wastage control, and collaboration with management and service staff to ensure a smooth service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• 18+ years of age.
• Possession of or the ability to possess state work cards.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Proper food storage knowledge.
• Proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all hot and cold restaurant foods.
• Prepare prep sheet to include all items to be prepared or ordered.
• Follow prep sheet and communicate with Chefs.
• Wrap, label, date, and store food items properly.
• Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment.
