Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Beaverton, OR is seeking a kitchen team member to assist with meal prep, presentation, and service for residents.

You will work under the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure high-quality dining experiences, maintain cleanliness, and follow company recipes and production guides. A positive, team-focused attitude and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• English reading and writing skills needed to communicate with residents and coworkers.
• Serv Safe certification or equivalent is required by the company standards.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.
• Ability to follow recipes and production guides.
• Food handler permit may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals.
• Provide a high level of customer service to residents.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef to ensure resident satisfaction with dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitary conditions at all times.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and safety practices.
