Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member in Beaverton, OR to assist with meal preparation and presentation, ensuring high-quality dining experiences for residents.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and following company recipes and production guides. Strong English communication and food-service knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Effectively read, write and communicate in English with residents and employees.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Able to follow and read recipes and production guides.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to satisfy residents with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and company standards.
• Ensure food is received, stored and prepared properly.
• Assist with preparation and presentation of meals and snacks as per recipes.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in a clean manner.
