Location: Baptist Memorial Hospital - 6019 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38120. Online applications accepted only.

Requirement: Three years of prior prep cook experience required.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers following federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedules and requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items using established recipes and quantities.
• Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals to ensure quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per procedures.
• Store, label, and date food items following policy and HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation times.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Prepare and serve food at multiple stations, ensuring quality and portion control.
• Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
