We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.

Location: Blue Cross Blue Shield - 601 South Gaines Street, Little Rock, AR. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous culinary experience preferred. Willing to train!

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Taste completed meals to ensure quality.
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
  • Store, label, and date all food items according to policy. Follow HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
  • Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
  • Serve customers efficiently and friendly.
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grill, serve at multiple stations.
  • Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and safety.
  • Resolve customer concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
