• We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.
• Location: Corporate Essentials - 2 Cranberry Road Unit #2, Parsippany, NJ 07054. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday. Hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items on production sheets following established recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals to ensure quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after each use.
5. Store, label, and date all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
7. Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
8. Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Complete orders from steam tables and grills, serving customers at multiple stations.
11. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, temperature, and portion control.
12. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
