Cooper’s Hawk Winery is seeking a prep cook to support a high-volume kitchen. You’ll prepare fresh ingredients, follow recipes precisely, and keep your station organized to ensure smooth shifts and consistent quality.

We value teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The role requires English communication and willingness to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• Prep or line cook experience preferred.
• Basic knife skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion food.
• Team-focused and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for weekends and holidays.
• Able to read, understand, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and follow recipes with accuracy.
• Set up and organize your station to stay efficient through every shift.
• Wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients for salads, cold plates, and garnishes.
• Prepare hot and cold sauces; carve and slice meats and cheeses.
• Portion food for service and follow daily systems and procedures.
• Communicate with teammates and managers to ensure a smooth kitchen flow.
• Keep kitchen equipment in excellent condition and maintain cleanliness.
• Look for ways to make the kitchen cleaner, faster, and better.
