Job summary

Victory Brewing in Downingtown, PA is hiring a part-time Prep Cook to join our tight-knit kitchen team. You will follow recipes, prep ingredients, and support the Executive Chef and kitchen manager to ensure accurate portioning and timely service.

You should have at least 2 years’ prep/line cook experience, a solid understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work quickly in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of prep/line cook experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meal ingredients following a recipe, and as directed by the Executive Chef, or manager on duty.
• Prepares fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepares meat by trimming, cutting, and portioning.
• Mixes or prepares condiments, dressings, and sauces according to recipe.
• Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
• Properly labels and stores food, while managing time-temperature logs according to taproom procedures and health code.
• Assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Follows all opening and closing duties as outlined in ABV guides.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Supports the planning, preparation, and execution of private events, ensuring high-quality service and presentation for guests.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
