Job summary

Victory Brewing Company in Kennett Square, PA, is hiring a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role supports the Executive Chef with daily prep, recipe execution, and high-quality plate assembly.

You will handle produce, proteins, sauces, and garnishes, maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced setting. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities within ABV brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a prep/line cook.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meal ingredients following a recipe, and as directed by the Executive Chef, or manager on duty.
• Prepares fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepares meat by trimming, cutting, and portioning.
• Mixes or prepares condiments, dressings, and sauces according to recipe.
• Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
• Properly labels and stores food, while managing time-temperature logs according to taproom procedures and health code.
• Assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Follows all opening and closing duties as outlined in ABV guides.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Supports the planning, preparation, and execution of private events, ensuring high-quality service and presentation for guests.
