Job summary

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is hiring for a kitchen prep position in Layton, Utah. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, and possess great people skills. Responsibilities include prepping fresh ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting line cooks.

Prior restaurant experience is beneficial, but we'll train the right person. Offers a fun atmosphere and numerous growth opportunities. Competitive pay starts at $12.00 to $16.00 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or prep experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prep vegetables, meats, sauces, and other ingredients daily.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas.
• Properly label, date, and store food.
• Assist line cooks as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
