The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is hiring a Prep Cook to ensure strict adherence to recipe standards and maintain safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation during shifts. You will follow management directions and store goods properly in walk-in coolers/freezers and dry storage while preparing fresh, visually appealing dishes.

Responsibilities include following the prep list, measuring ingredients, prepping vegetables and meats, and basic cooking duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene
• Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs

Responsabilités

• Follow prep list created by Kitchen Manager
• Follow recipes by accurately measuring ingredients and following mixing methods
• Prepare ingredients by washing and slicing vegetables and cutting meats
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as sautéing vegetables and boiling soups
• Label and stock all food products for proper rotation
• Understanding of sanitation and cleanliness standards and procedures
• Perform other related duties as requested
