Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will help prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents, ensuring meals are prepared to high standards with attention to portion control and presentation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to residents, with opportunities to grow within a hospitality-focused dining program. Flexible shifts and a supportive staff environment are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of commercial kitchen/cooking experience is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
• Basic reading, writing, math and verbal communication skills are needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to use kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain stations and equipment; practice safety and sanitation.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Adhere to sanitation and food production codes.
