Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll help craft breakfast, lunch, and dinner items with an emphasis on quality, taste, and resident satisfaction.

You’ll work with a supportive team, follow recipes, maintain safety and sanitation, and contribute to a warm, caring dining experience that residents look forward to every day. Benefits include flexible scheduling, health coverage, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• One year of commercial kitchen or cooking experience.
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to use kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents and team with kindness and care.
• Present yourself professionally with a positive attitude.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards.
• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary, timely manner.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Adhere to sanitation and food production codes.
• Expedite food and assist in dish area as needed.
