Mia's Table is seeking energetic kitchen staff to join our vibrant restaurant team. You will assist in food preparation, operate kitchen equipment, and help maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires staying flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with on-the-job training provided. A strong focus on food safety and teamwork will help you thrive in our hot, bustling kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• On-the-job training provided for those without prior kitchen experience.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation (chopping vegetables, marinating meats) and follow recipes.
• Cook and grill items according to Mia's Table standards.
• Oversee inventory and restock as needed.
• Set up workstations with ingredients, utensils and equipment.
• Label and store food items, maintain rotation and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with chefs, sous chefs, and dishwashers for smooth operation.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistent quality.
• Support safety regulations and proper chemical storage in the kitchen.
