Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort in Sundance, WY, is seeking a part-time or full-time Prep Cook to support our culinary team. The position offers $20.00 per hour with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and flexible days.

You will follow daily prep lists, prepare quantities, maintain sanitation, label FIFO, and assist in other dining outlets as needed. No prior experience required; obtain a food handler's permit within 30 days; must be 18+. Evidence of a strong work ethic is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Entry-level kitchen position; no prior experience required.
• Basic knowledge of commercial kitchens and food production preferred.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit within 30 days of employment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow directions on the daily prep list.
• Prepare foods in the correct quantity and preparation style as shown by a supervisor.
• Properly season and taste food to meet the standard set by a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace; organize tasks to complete them promptly.
• Label and date food preparation (FIFO) and store prepared foods correctly.
• Follow cleaning procedures for kitchen equipment as outlined by your supervisor.
• May assist in the Employee Café or other food outlets as directed.
