Job summary

Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc. in West Palm Beach is seeking a Prep Cook to organize kitchen prep and support during service, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will follow safety policies, prepare items per recipe manual, rotate stock, and assist with station setup. This role requires standing for long periods and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass Florida food safety standards.
• Experience in kitchen prep is preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule incl. nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Prepares menu items according to recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures rotation and par levels to keep the kitchen flowing.
• Stock and set up prep stations and assist with item transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and break down stations at closing.
• Communicate ticket times and assist with food flow to guests.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grill, stove, slicer).
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the full shift.
