Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Prep Cook to join our team in Romulus, MI. You will support our mission by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a strong guest focus, while upholding our TRIFIC values.

Responsibilities include food preparation with recipe adherence, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and assisting with ordering and planning food supplies. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of cooking experience and a ServeSafe certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cooking experience, preferably in high-volume or fast casual dining.
• ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state.
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment with guests.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food with 100% recipe adherence, following recipes and product directions.
• Follow production prep list and keep accurate records; assist with ordering and planning supplies.
• Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, slice, and peel prep items; store prepared foods with proper dating and labeling.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment; comply with food safety standards and regulations.
• Stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment with varying conditions.
