Job summary

TC Restaurant Group is seeking a Prep Cook to support the kitchen on a high-volume line. You will prepare ingredients, set up stations, and assist with prep and service while maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have pantry/prep experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pantry, prep, or line cook in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for up to eight hours.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of English reading and communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food to specifications according to recipes and quality standards.
• Retrieves ingredients from storage and prepares equipment and supplies.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of station and kitchen.
• Rotates stock using FIFO and maintains par levels.
• Assists other kitchen staff during prep and service.
• Completes station closing duties and reports issues to supervisors.
