Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a professional kitchen, a strong work ethic, and a passion for Asian cuisine. The position requires mornings, afternoons, weekends, and some evenings, with a starting rate of $16.50/hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a professional kitchen; prep cook preferred.
• Strong work ethic; organized; positive team contributor.
• Passion for Asian cuisine; eager to learn new dishes and ingredients.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain strict allergen protocols across stations.
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
• Stand for long periods; able to lift <50 lbs; physical stamina.
• Flexible scheduling: mornings, afternoons, weekends; some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily prep lists and assigned tasks.
• Maintain open communication with team members.
• Keep station clean and organized; perform end-of-shift clean-up.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all prepared items.
• Follow allergen protocols during prep.
• Provide hospitality to guests as needed.
• Keep walk-in cooler/freezer and kitchen areas organized.
• Follow food safety storage guidelines with proper labeling and FIFO.
• Assist teammates with other tasks as assigned.
